What Causes Pulsating Sensation On Left Side After Having IUI?

I had IUI and ovulated on 2/27. in the last few days, I ve been having a pulsating sensation on my left side and lower back pain. I have been taking progesteron since 2/28. I ve never had this feeling before, really odd. Not sure if I should take a pregnancy test as it may be too soon and my doctor advised I should not take one till Friday, 3/13. Just wondering what this pulsating sensation could be. I know I ovulated from my left side.
