What Causes Purple Bruise With Red Dots Followed By Lump After Injury?

I was play fighting with someone and got a bruise, I bruise very easily normally but this is the worst one I have ever had and came out as purple as a plum and could see red dots what I presumed was little blood vessels or something, but now it is going and has gone yellow.. but there is a lump underneath and im worrying. Thanks
