What Causes Purple Bruise With White Spot On Body?

I have a bruise (purple/blue)with a white spot in the middle that contains a very small lump. The bruise is expanding outwards. My father and his girlfriend both have experience similar markings on them, as of late. We live in the same town, not in the same house. It does look like a bite. Should I be worried about lyme disease?
