What Causes Purple Bruising With Blisters On The Legs?

HI, I'm 48 years old with controlled hypertension, and dyslipidemia which is controlled through meds. I was diagnosed 22 days ago with Cellulitis in my lower left leg. I had a full blown infection and experienced all textbook symptoms before I realized I needed to have my leg checked. It was like a real bad sunburn, deep red orange. Two rounds of anibiotics. A venous doppler was done to check for clotting. Doppler came back negative. I go in two weeks for an Arterial Doppler in lower extremeties. Question, Doc says infection has ceased because there is no more heat from infected area even though their has been color changes. Mostly, dark brownish reddish color and on my shin there are slightly raised purple spots almost blistery like. I asked my Doc but she said the infection was gone. I'm still very concerned. Do I need to have this checked out further? And, what might these purple almost blistery spots be. Scarring? or Lack of Venous blood flow? Although Venous Doppler was negative. I'm scared there is something more seriously going on that I'm not aware and might make the leg worse if not treated accordingly. Also, the ER Cardiac Nurse felt a strong pulse in my foot. What do you think
