What Causes Raised Red Spots And Purple Patches On Child's Leg?

my 2 year old daughter has raised red spots and small round purple patches mostly on her legs wth some on her face appeared yesyerday. she has been unwell for past few days sickness and diorhea GP thought virus o medicine prescribed but there where no spots at this time she no longer has the sickness or diorhea.
