What Causes Random Pins And Needle Sensation On Body?

I have been having random pins & needles sensation all over my body, all day today. They are brief, intense, and lasting just a few seconds in each spot. They are occurring everywhere, my arms, legs, feet, hands, stomach, back, neck. It is uncomfortable but not incapacitating. I am a 60 year old female, have not had any recent changes in medication.
