What Causes Rash On Pelvis And Thighs After Recovering From UTI And Sepsis?

I was released from the hospital Saturday after being treated for urinary tract infection and sepsis. Over the last two days have developed a bruising/rash like on my crotch and top of inner thighs. Painful walking and sitting plus a throbbing sensation on my vagina. Did the sepsis not clear up and is it spreading? Was sent home on pain meds and antibiotics that I have been taking since released from the hospital. My follow up appointment isn t until March 25, should I be worried and get an appointment ASAP? Thanks
