What Causes Rashes And Whiteheads On Forehead, Cheeks And Chin?

I got flu like symptoms 5 days ago. so I had been blowing my nose a lot using water to clean. then my skin started feeling really taut and dry. yesterday in the afternoon i noticed whiteheads around my nostrils and the skin near my nose and eyes was very itchy. by night my t-zone minus the forehead was very itchy, had rashes, i put benadryl cream to sop the itch and went to bed. this morning i woke up with the whiteheadson the cheeks near the nose, upper lip and chin area. what could it possibly be? the doctor said the rash was allergy and the whiteheads were just pimples...because of my dry skin. i didn't quite believe it. please help
