What Causes Rashes In Groin Area After Taking Effexor?

I recently had injection of steriod in my knees and prior to that started effecor. I have had a face rash appear the day after injection and have had burning indigestions since. Today I have rash on both groin area. I wondered if it could be the steriod injection or effecor 37.5 mg.
