What Causes Rashes On Body, Earache And Bloodshot Eyes?

My son had a rash all over his body at the weekend. It has faded a lot but he has complained if earache and headache. He isn t really ill and is only slightly off his food. He has now got red bloodshot eyes and has come over very sleepy. Any ideas? He has a temperature on and off.
