What Causes Rashes On Face, Shoulder And Neck?

Hi there,

I developed a rash on my face on Sunday, which is now worse and actually on my neck and shoulders as well, even my lips are effected and feel "funny". It is itchy in places. I went to the doctor yesterday, but he didn't seem to worried and the only thing he gave me was a soap to wash my face with, but nothing for the discomfort. Can it be an allergic reaction to something? I usually have such a beautiful skin and now it almost looks like achne, but it isn't!
