What Causes Rashes On Legs After Taking Eliquis?

I started taking Eliquis 3 weeks ago, 2.5 mg bid. I ve noticed blotches on my legs that look like bruising. The Eliquis is for anticoagulation due to DTV in the left leg. I m also taking an 80mg. aspirin as he suggested. Is this too much? Am I in danger? Thanks!
