What Causes Rashes On Lower Back?

I ve been getting hickey like marks on my lower back for almost about a year now which they disappear and reappear on the same location on my back until recently I noticed the same marks going across my back now instead of vertically on how I ve been getting them. Should this be a cause of concern for me?
