What Causes Raspy Voice Along With Itchy Skin And Tiredness?

I have had a raspy voice for over a year. For the same time I have had itchy skin and lesions which show up mainly at night and if scratched bleed. I have had low thyroid for at least 30 years and take meds for it. For the past month I am especially tired and get winded quickly when I walk my dog. I am 72. I also get sweats mostly at night. I have an appointment with my doctor in two weeks. Does this sound more like a thyroid problem or perhaps throat cancer? I was a heavy smoker for many years.
