What Causes Raw Spot At The Vaginal Opening?

I have a raw spot right in the opening of my vagina that causes pain during sex. I get really wet during intercourse so that makes me wonder if it is an issue with lubrication. I like to please my man and can't right now without experiencing pain. What is your opinion of what it could be?
