What Causes Rectal Bleeding?

Hi Good morning. On friday, 20th March, when I went to toilet, i passed lot of fresh blood from back passage and immediately I went to see my GP. She carried out initial investigation by using a glove and checked my back passage. She only prescribed SCHERIPROCT OINTMENT for me. Today again i went to toilet and the same happened, blood from back passage. please advice.
