What Causes Rectal Pain Causing Difficulty In Sitting?

I am being treated for vestibulodynia and and also (may) have Sjogrens Syndrome. For the former I have been prescribed gabapentin and for the latter hydroxichloriquine. My question relates to pain in the rectal area which I am told is not associated with either condition. It is presistent and creates difficulty in sitting down almost constantly. It is very similar to the vulval pain associated with vestibulodynia but, as mentioned, the gynocologist tells me it is not usually connected. This is bothering me considerably.

Thanks for any suggestions
