What Causes Recurrence Of Seborrheic Dermatitis Spots?

hi I have been diagnosed as having mild seborrheic dermatitis around my the folds of my nose and have been given Daktacort, a hydrocortisone 1% cream. The treatment was successful and the symptoms disappeared.
Recently I had a similar small appearance of deermatitis-like spots around the folds of my nose so I began using the Daktacort cream again. The cream cured the worst symptoms but caused a spread of small 'pimple like' spots around all the areas where I used it.
Is it possible for the cream to be infected and actually more harm then good, or can the fungal infection that causes seborrheic dermatitis spread around my face during my sleep from my pillow?
