What Causes Recurrence Of Vaginal Itching And White Discharge?

Good day! A month ago, I had this vaginal itch and white discharges in the opening of my vagina, I went to see a gynecologist and she prescribed me antibiotics and vaginal tablets which I took for 7 days. The symptoms disappeared. 2 days ago, I started to itch again but there is no white discharges like before. I haven't had any intercourse almost 7 months now. I was also diagnosed of PID 2 years back. What could be the reason why this is happening and what should I do about this?
