What Causes Recurrent Tiny Red Rash On The Back Of My Hands?

On both my hands, I have very very very tiny pinprick type rash that appears on top of hands (back of hands) not palms. The rash is not itchy at all and only comes and goes. Does not itch or hurt at all. Very tiny red dots. Could this be an STD? What could it be I am so worried
