What Causes Recurring Bartholin's Cyst And Bump On Labia Majora?

Hello,
I am a 47 year old woman with a history of recurring Bartholin cyst. My periods are regular, and have no itching of vaginal discharge. I have a small bump on labia majora that feels warm (almost as the feeling of a boil trying to erupt). It doesn't hurt. Yesterday I had my bartholin cyst removed, but I still feel the bump in there. My doctor said it's too early to say what it is, that it might be an enlarged lymph node. She prescribed Cipro for 7 days.
I was wondering if I should ask my doctor if a fine needle biopsy would be necessary to evaluate the bump...
