What Causes Recurring Bruise In Armpit?

I keep getting a bruise in my arm pit, approx the size of a nickle. I have been diagnosed with connective tissue disease. although i have not been seen by a doctor in 5mo, due to insurance and financial sitiation. Is there a reason for this or should i be concerned?
