What Causes Recurring Fever With History Of Brainstem Encephalitis?

I am currently in search for a infectious disease Dr. for my husband, he has a history of Brain stem encephilist T.B Rheumatic fever, two yrs. ago is when he had tb. But for the last couple yrs. he runs a fever at least two times a week it goes as high as 104. been to different drs. but no answers so now i am trying to find a specialist close to home but so far no avail.do u know what it might b causing this problem, any advice. we need help with this, getting worse daily
