What Causes Recurring, Frequent Cramps In Legs And Arms?

I get hand cramps, more often and often. I also get leg cramps and usually it is limited to the left hand and the left leg, but today I have twitching of a cramp in my upper right leg and also my left hand. I run my hand under warm water and it releases, but it comces back.
