What Causes Recurring Headaches On Waking Up?

A friend of mine started having stomach aches for about 2 days. Since then about 9 days ago, she is been having fever and constant headaches. Her hemoglobin is getting lower too. She does not have the stomach pain anymore, but a couple of hours after she wakes up she starts with the headaches. what could it be?
