What Causes Recurring Loss Of Balance While Standing?

I am experiencing some unsteadiness when standing. Systolic pressures was in the 140 to 157 range over the last few days. Diastolic pressure mainly normal. Been to see a Gp already and he has rules out vertigo and sent me for a blood test and continuing to monitor blood pressure at home. Meanwhile light headness esp when standing ensues. Is there any cause for concern?
