What Causes Recurring Pain Behind Ears?

Hello, I ve been very stressed out lately and have started to notice a a frequent ache behind my ear, in my neck. Kinda of like a pulsing head ache. I ve freaked out and thought it was something to do with my artery. Please tell me it s just a tension headache?!
