What Causes Recurring Pain In Iliac Fossa?

I am a 19 year old female and have systemic scleroderma, I have been suffering with a pain in the right iliac fossa for a few years now but Drs have always told me it's nothing to worry about and sent me home with paracetamol! This pain varies between niggling and severe. I have this pain just now, right now it's bearable but uncomfortable! What could be causing this?
