What Causes Recurring Palpitations And Dizziness?

I have been suffering with dizzy spells, my heart has been racing and I am feeling a little disoriented. I have had dizzy spells before but these are more severe then the others. When I move I feel as though I am going to fall to the right. When I lay down on my right side the whole room spins.
