What Causes Recurring Pressure And Shooting Pain In The Head?

Can tension cause headaches that (don t really feel like headaches) more like tightening in the back of my head? It s more on the right side and I have developed lumps about the size of a pea. Some times I feel like there is pressure and sometimes pain shoots inwards.. almost as if it is trying to release. My doctor is referring me to a physio therapist. I will add that this started on January 28th and I have had at most 4 days free from this pain. It wakes me up. Tension? Stress? I am getting pretty sick of it. Today is March 10th
