What Causes Recurring Rectal Inflammation, Diarrhea And Trace Of Blood In Stool?

Hi I am a 23 year old male who has been experiencing rectal inflammation for the past two years along with frequent diarrhea. Occasionally a very small amount of blood will appear on the toilet paper. I wipe completely clean every time I make a bowel movement, however if I wipe without making a bowel movement there is usually a small amount of watery, yellow fecal matter on the toilet paper. Lately I have been waking up as early as 4:00 am every morning with abdominal pain and the need to have a bowel movement. I have an appointment with a GI doctor in a few weeks, but I'm very stressed out and would like some answers sooner.
