What Causes Recurring Sharp Pain On The Side Of Neck?

I have been having a sharp pain on the right side of my neck by artery area. Comes and goes every few mins and only last a few seconds. Should I be worried? My brother had a stroke at 52 and my other brother had a heart attack at 62. Both died from these.
