What Causes Recurring Sore Throat Along With White Lump In Throat?

i am 47, 183cm 73 kg . I have had an on and off sore throat in the left side of my throat for a few days. today i took a look at my tonsil a the mirror and I noticed a white lump in the lower part of my tonsil . my tonsil has itself has no inflammation or enlargement but this portion seems like an abscess or a small bag of pus. I have history of tonsil stone for a couple of years but this one does not look like a stone. I can see the continuation of my tonsil capillaries over it what could it be?
