What Causes Recurring Swelling In Lymph Nodes And Rashes Behind The Ear?

Hi, for the last year my lymph node right behind my left ear has been swollen about 4 times, twice accompanied by a rash behind that ear and on my neck. Currently I have a few tiny bumps behind my ears, swollen gland behind left ear, and pain/sensitivity on left side of head and neck. At first my PCP though shingles but I never developed blisters so he told me to stop taking antivirals if they didn't develop. Pain started last Sunday and bumps appeared last Friday. I'm lost for what this and just want answers :( and no pain.
