What Causes Recurring Urinary Tract Infection?

My 20 year old daughter keeps getting urine infections, she has the antibiotics from the doctors which appear to cure it for a while, but usually it comes back within a month or so. The doctor tells her to drink plenty and keep herself clean, which she has always done anyway. She is at her wits end. what should she do?
