What Causes Recurring Vaginal Bleeding Bleeding After Taking Yasmin Pills?

Doctor told me that I have a cyst, when I started my period I started taking Yasmin contraceptives. There was a light bleeding after taking the pills more like bloodish water with an odour very bad smell!! Now the bleeding has started again, what is causing this?
