What Causes Red And Brown Spots On Cheeks Of A Child?

My daughter has had an off and on flaring of cheeks combined with slight cold symptoms over last few weeks. I assumed it was fifths disease and let it run its course. It s been better last few days. Last night she threw up only one time (without much straining) and immediately afterwards I noticed she has a large cluster of small red spots like the size of 3 quarters side by side, these have combined so it just looks like a solid red patch) on the side of her face and today she has red and brown pin point spots all over her cheeks and eyes and seems to be spreading over her whole face. They don t go away when you push on them. Skin feels normal, not raised or anything. Do I need to be concerned? She is ten years old.
