What Causes Red And Itchy Vagina After Having Sexual Intercourse?

Hi. I recently involved myself in sexual intercourse about 2 weeks ago. The day after, my vagina was feeling very irritated. We were both very dry and did not use a condom. We do not have any previous history of STD's but lately my vagina has been itching and red. What may be the cause/diagnosis?
