What Causes Red Blotches On Arms And Behind Ears?

Hi, I have red blotchy on my arms and behind my ears and some on my face too. They are itch and painful. My left ear and the surrounding area are swollen and I get a terrible pain right behind this ear, (mainly just behind the loop and on the bone).
