What Causes Red Boils On Face Starting From Forehead To Cheeks?

My baby boy is 26 days old. In the past week he has developed some small boils which strech from his temple to his cheeks area. Some boils are becoming slightly reddish especially around his cheek area. I use coconut oil mixed with olive oil for massage. I donot use oil on face. However while massaging some oil does land up on his face. I donot use soap on the face, but for some time did use a mixutre of besan and massoor dal to remove the oil from the face. I have stopped using this for the past week and just clean his face with warm water. But I am not finding any significant improvement. What could be the reason for the boils and what should I be doing?
