What Causes Red Bumps Along Hairline Of Scalp?

Hi, I have been getting red bumps along my hairline of my scalp. What do you think this is? How to treat it? Also, I must mention that six months ago I had yellow, flaky scales (which I recieved from my doctor topical ointments and a special shampoo form my doctor to use). The treatment worked. However, in the last couple of weeks I had small minor yellow scales appear but appear to be clearing up from the topical ointments and special lotion to use after taking a shower.
