What Causes Red Bumps On The Body?

My daughter has red bumps that appear on different parts of her body. She thinks it s staph. She did have a staph infection last year on her leg, and now the same type of red bump appears. Two months it was on her breast and now it s on her calf. She does not feel sick, but it is red and irritated. Does staph continue to stay in your body and keep reemerging?
