What Causes Red Bumps On The Mons Pubis?

hi I have little red bumps on my mons pubis, it doesn't itch and they recently occurred on it...I try to pop the bump like it's a pimple but it only causes pain...I do usually get an ingrown hair on it from time to time but I haven't had one in months....it's not anybody I recently had sex with because I used protection and they were there before although they were small and hard to realize and before that I hadn't had sex in months, I just recently had sex...I have been having a odor to...I'm worried it may be an std please help
