What Causes Red Color Skin Rashes After Using A Hair Dye?

hi there have used hair dye for awhile now without any problems in the past,but since I have been doing a skin test ive been getting a reaction on the test area like a red rash,not sure what I can do as far as putting colour on my head,what do you think?
