What Causes Red Colored Spots On Cheek While Suffering From GERD?

I have a hiatal hernia & GERD. I woke up very sick from heart burn last night and while throwing up, I started choking as it was getting stuck in my throat. When I woke up this morning I have little red dots on my left cheek going up to my eye and I also have more freckles under my eyes and across my nose. Is this normal? Why would this happen?
