What Causes Red Dots On Arm And Legs And Joint Pain?

Hi, I am a 34 year old woman and over the last couple of weeks, I have developed red dots all over my arms and legs especially near my elbows and knees. I have also developed pain in my joints making it difficult to stand once I have sat down. Could this be shingles???
