What Causes Red Dots On Fingers Spreading To Both Hands?

I have small red dots on my fingers. It started on one hand and now it's showing up on the other. It is not itchy or bothering. They started to appear a few weeks again and they are sensitive to touch. I even have a small rough red area on one of the fingers. Should I be worried?
