What Causes Red Itchy Bumps All Over The Body?

Hi doctor, my son is 14 years old. He has red bumps all over his body including his face. Some of the bumps connects together like map. It is very itchy. he also has fever of 99-100. It has been 4 days and not sign of getting better. Can you please help what should I do? what he has?
