What Causes Red Itchy Pimple?

Hi i think i have a dermatofibroma but it saya that it has to dimple and mine doesnt! The size is still the same! It started red and it was kind of itchy that I even thought it was a pimple but since it hasn t disappeared now I think is not a pimple but something else! Now is darker in color but same size
