What Causes Red Itchy Rashes That Looks Like Pityriasis Rosea?

Two weeks ago i developed a rash. Its very itchy and is red and looks like pityriasis rosea. I hav been given antihistamin and soap but they arw not helping. I now hav flu syptoms and groin pain too and i have an mildly upset stomach. Cld all this be connected
